SELLER DESCRIPTION General: 25' 1979 Skipjack Custom Hardtop Sport Cruiser ready to fish! This Skipjack has everything you need for fresh or salt water fishing and was upgraded and very well maintained by the current owner. The boat is kept on a trailer out of the water most of the time and is very sound. There is a functional cabin complete with AM/FM Stereo with 4 speakers and CO2 sensor, a galley with electric icebox, 20 gallon fresh pressurized water and alcohol stove, head with sink and an electric flush toilet with 20 gallon holding tank system, storage cabinets, bench with table and a double berth. The current owner had a custom hardtop built over the helm with 12 rod holders and a spreader light. There are Precision 12' outriggers, a teak swimstep, and a folding/telescoping stainless ladder on swimstep. The cockpit deck layout is flush with no need to go around an engine box when fighting a fish. There is a 32 gallon bait tank, good for two scoops, a 28 gallon bait bag, and raw water wash down to keep the deck clean. The boat has shore power and a shore power on board battery charger.Mechanical: The engine and outdrive are running perfectly! The boat comes with a 1986 Panther Marine 350 with 260 HP and Volvo 280 single prop outdrive. It is reported to cruise at 19 knots with a maximum speed of 30 knots. There is tankage for 100 gallons of fuel. The engine compartment is equipped with a Fireboy halon auto engine room fire extinguisher and a gasoline vapor sensor in fuel tank compartment. There are two bilge pumps both on separate switches with float switches, the large one has a high water alarm. There are oversize Bennet trim tabs for stable cruising and a Simpson Lawrence windlass for the anchor.Electronics: This boat is loaded with a Furuno 1623 16 mile radar, a Furuno 1650F color combination gps/fishfinder/chartplotter that is integrated with a Raymarine Sportpilot Plus autopilot for steering from waypoint to waypoint, one Icom 502 vhf radio with command mic at helm and one Shakespeare backup vhf radio, each with a separate antenna, and a Floscan Series 8000 to calculate real time mpg! |
