Ericson is one of the leading manufacturers of fiberglass boats. The first Ericson Boats began production in the year 1966 with the 30 and the 26 being the first boats to be produced. Today even though the business has closed down, the designs of these boats were so popular that they are still reproduced by other boat manufacturers periodically.
The Ericson 38 is a popular boat model by the Ericson Company. In fact because of its popularity it remained in production for over 20 years. This boat was originally introduced in the year 1980 and was designed by Bruce King one of the owners of the company. The boat comes to around 37 feet 8 inches in length and has a displacement of 15,500 pounds. The beam of Ericson 38 measures around 12 feet.
