RB12 organizers confirm their final course

Organisers of RB12 for this year said that there will be 50 boats, 50 aircrafts, and 50 cars, will racing around simultaneously Britain. This was revealed some time ago.

Falmouth, Conwy, SwanRB12 organizers confirm their final coursesea, Troon, Thurso, the Kyle of Lochalsh, Hull, Edinburgh, and Ramsgate will be serving as over night stops for element of ‘Sea’ and finish/start points for their cars.

This race will be taking place between 21-30 of June, starting & finishing at Weymouth & Portland Academy of National Sailing which is venue for sailing events of 2012 Olympics.

For first time in powerboat competitive race craft will be going around Britain’s top, facing challenges at Cape Wrath & the Pentland Firth, which are notorious for the sudden and severe conditions of sea.

The endurance quotient will be tested for the powerboat crews and it will be equivalent for 10 races of Cowes-Torquay-Cowes. Course of road will be more than 2,500 miles long and this will involve competitive challenges on way and the timing and air precision will be important for success.

Fred McCaig, the Event Director said that they are happy to reveal route for marathon. It took a few months for planning to make sure that they are offering challenging endurance for all the competitors.

He also said that they are happy to give Sea competitors one chance for conquering Britain’s top and this means there must be a lot of hard work put in for securing logistics for both aircraft and cars. They are proud that this route has come together finally.
