Boat sales up in Florida

During this tough economy, a lot of people are now trying to get back on the items of big ticket so they'll be able to stretch the dollars even further. 1 exception for this rule, especially for Florida - is recreational boats. Economic waters are little choppy now but still setting the sail.
Association of National Marine Manufacturers says that the sales went up by 6 percent for the year 2011. It was first increase of this industry since the year 2006. Florida has accounted for about $1.5 billion dollars of these sales, up by 35 percent over the year 2010. Rick Johnson along with Gulf Marine, a boat dealer says that people are pent up, they have sat back, they have watched. It does not really look as it world is going to end and hence people are getting out with their families.
