The Fairline Boats is a motor yacht manufacturing company. This English company was founded in the year 1963 by one Jack Newington and is now owned by the 3i company. The company currently manufactures yachts at its Oundle original base, and at another base located at Corby, Northamptonshire.
The first Fairline Boats were launched the year 1967. This boat was a hand crafted 19 ft. river cruiser of glass reinforced plastic. The company currently builds three different series or ranges of their motor yachts which include the Phantom, the Targa as well as the Squadron. The Phantom was first launched in the year 1974 a family cruise boat called the Phantom 32. The Squadron was first launched in the year 1991 and was a range of large yacht.
